Delete Your HomePerty Account & Data
This page explains how to permanently delete your HomePerty account and every piece of cloud data associated with it. HomePerty is published by KingNerd (Gabriel), an independent developer based in Romania. Contact: kingnerdishere@gmail.com.
This page is part of the HomePerty Privacy Policy, which it supplements with step-by-step deletion instructions. If you only want to delete some of your data while keeping your account, see Delete Your HomePerty Data instead.

Who this page is for
Use these steps if you want to permanently close your HomePerty account — this deletes your Google Sign-In identity as known to HomePerty (via Firebase Authentication) together with every Cloud Backup version and its metadata stored on our servers.
An account only exists in HomePerty if you have signed in with Google to use Cloud Backup. If you have never signed in, there is no account or cloud data to delete — everything you enter is already local to your device only, and you can remove it at any time by uninstalling the app or using Settings → Reset app (see Delete Your HomePerty Data).
Option 1 — Delete in the app (fastest, takes effect immediately)
- Open HomePerty on your device.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Cloud backup.
- Tap Delete cloud data & account.
- Confirm when prompted.
This immediately and permanently deletes every backup version, the backup metadata, and your Firebase Authentication account (name, email address, profile photo, and account identifier) associated with HomePerty. There is no waiting period, and the action cannot be undone — if you sign in again afterward, it creates a brand-new account with no connection to the deleted data.
This does not touch the data stored on your device. Properties, tenants, leases, finances, documents, photos, and voice notes on your phone remain until you separately clear them — see Delete Your HomePerty Data for how to wipe local data too.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email (if you can't use the app)
If you've uninstalled HomePerty, lost access to your device, or otherwise can't reach Settings, you can request account deletion directly:
- Email kingnerdishere@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my HomePerty account".
- Send it from (or reference) the same email address associated with the Google account you signed in with, so we can verify it's you.
- State clearly that you want your HomePerty account and all associated cloud data deleted.
Once we've verified you control the account, we perform the same deletion described in Option 1 from our side — every backup version, its metadata, and the Firebase Authentication account are permanently removed.
What gets deleted, and what's retained
| Data | What happens |
|---|---|
| Cloud Backup archives (all retained versions) | Permanently deleted, immediately |
| Backup metadata (dates, sizes, app version, device model) | Permanently deleted, immediately |
| Firebase Authentication account (name, email, photo, account ID) | Permanently deleted, immediately |
| On-device local data (properties, tenants, finances, documents, photos, voice notes) | Not affected — delete separately via Settings → Reset app or by uninstalling |
| License key redemption record | Not personal account data (a key string and a timestamp, not linked to your name or email); retained for fraud-prevention and audit purposes for as long as reasonably necessary |
| Records we're required to keep for legal compliance or active abuse/fraud investigations | Retained only as long as legally necessary, then deleted |
How long it takes
- In-app deletion (Option 1): immediate and permanent.
- Email requests (Option 2): completed within 30 days of us verifying you control the account, consistent with the response time described in our Privacy Policy for data-subject rights requests.
